Earlier this evening I was coming inside from walking my dog, we walked past a dude by the service elevator and Ginger (my pup) briefly nudged over his way and looked up at him. The following occurred:

Guy: “GET THAT DOG AWAY FROM ME”

Me: /stunned look/ “What? She just looked at you, no need to be like that”

Guy: “Just get it away”

Me: “What the hell?”

Guy: “I’m just tired of people letting their animals get near me”

Me: “I’ve never seen you in my life so I’m pretty sure my dog is not your problem”

Guy: “Whatever - I don’t want it near me”

Me: “Maybe you just need to admit that you are a dickhead”

Guy: “YEAH SURE *grumbly noises*

Me: *mocks grumbly noises and adds in derp laugh”

Guy: *does louder version of my derp laugh and then disappears up the service elevator*
