RABBLE BCS OUTRAGE RABBLE
I mean, I guess I MAD, but it’s really just because
- In spite of their being ranked #8 and being a fellow BCS snubee, the stakes don’t feel that high playing K-State. I’d really have rather have faced Oklahoma (and I think thats what the bowl wanted too) but since VT and UM snagged the at-larges over the Wildcats, despite the rankings, that wasn’t gonna happen. I have tons of respect for Bill Snyder, but it just feels like a game where if we win: “well, you were supposed to win - you are SEC and they are K-State” and if we lose its: “LULZ U LOST TO ECOKAT”.
- The bad fortune of having the two best teams in the nation IN YOUR OWN FUCKING DIVISION AND PLAYING BOTH ON THE ROAD. I really hate the 2 per conference rule. If your conference has 4 of the 10 best teams, then all four should be eligible to go to the BCS. It’s one thing to get passed over as an at-large, but its another to not even be eligible for selection because THE TWO BEST TEAMS IN THE NATION ARE ALSO IN YOUR DIVISION. LOL SORRY. And, yes, I stand by this argument for all conferences.
Also, Cotton Bowl tickets were $150 and $250 face and that shit is already sold out so going is not an option. BLAST!
